Castellum Equity Partners is a newly established Search Fund focused on identifying, acquiring, and operating a private company in Italy with an initial enterprise value between EUR 15 and 30 million.
The Search Fund is manage by Stefano Cattapan and will focus on small/ medium-sized companies with strong organic prospects which can act as aggregating platforms to implement a comprehensive horizontal and/or vertical “buy & build” strategy in sectors where Italy has a leading global positioning and benefits from recognised excellence and unique know-how.
Stefano brings 13 years of investment banking experience with Citi, where he has advised global companies, senior executives, boards, and institutional investors across London and Milan. He has successfully executed over 50 transactions, with a total value exceeding USD $100 billion, spanning industries in Europe, the USA, and the Middle East.
Stefano holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University and completed advanced studies in private equity and entrepreneurship at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina.
