Cassandra Investments is a search fund formed to identify, acquire and operate an existing private company in Italy with initial enterprise value between €15.0 and €30.0 million. Cassandra’s is managed by Emanuele Charalambis and Riccardo Donadel, a team of committed searchers combining local and international experiences in strategy consulting, M&A, and private equity.
Emanuele has a strong international background in strategy and investment, with over six years of experience in top-tier consulting firms such as Delta Partners and Value Partners, where he led projects in growth, restructuring, M&A, and due diligence—particularly in the tech and industrial sectors across Europe and MENA. He later expanded his expertise in investment banking as part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Financial Sponsors Group. In addition, he has developed solid leadership skills as an interim manager, driving strategic execution and transformation initiatives. Academically, he combines a technical foundation in Computer Engineering with an MBA from IESE Business School, complemented by international exchanges at Kellogg and the University of Michigan.
Riccardo brings over six years of experience in M&A advisory and private equity, developed within leading Italian financial boutiques, family offices, and investment firms such as Koinos Capital, Scouting Capital Advisors, and B. Group. He has a proven track record in the Italian mid-market, having identified, structured, and executed more than 15 M&A transactions. His expertise spans deal structuring and negotiation, transaction contract drafting, and financial due diligence. Additionally, he has strong accounting and financial advisory capabilities, built through hands-on work in debt advisory and management control consulting for multiple companies. Academically, Riccardo holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Financial Institutions and Markets from the University of Bologna.
