The search fund model has been active in the United States for over thirty-five years. As the pioneer market, the ecosystem there has developed enormously in recent years, and there are already several specialised funds with more than €200m under management.
In Europe the model is more recent, yet the ecosystem is growing quickly and showing exceptional results. Spain is the country in Europe with the largest number of search funds and investors.
That combination — a proven model with a long track record elsewhere, and a European market still early in its development — is the reason we built Arada Capital Partners as a pan-European vehicle rather than a domestic one.
