Mors Transmission is a Search Fund whose goal is to locate, acquire, and grow an SME in France. Hugo Pruvost, the founder of Mors Transmission, is the responsible for the search, acquisition, and day-to-day management of the acquired SME. His investors, including Arada Capital Partners, advise him in all phases of the Search Fund: search, selection, acquisition, and management.

Hugo is a civil engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the Imperial College of London. He started his career in the structured finance department of VINCI Group, where he was structuring complex debt financings for infrastructure projects of amounts up to €1bn and  were he developed solid corporate finance skills.

After this experience, Hugo joined the corporate mergers and acquisitions team of SAUR (water treatment company with approximately €2bn revenues), a portfolio company of EQT, a leading worldwide private equity firm. As part of a small team, Hugo had extensive responsibilities in analyzing opportunities and executing acquisitions of different sizes, ranging from €10m to €300m revenues. He also successfully led a competitive sale process for two non-core subsidiaries in the field of energy and municipal water construction works.

After a landmark company acquisition in Portugal generating €120m revenues, Hugo was appointed to manage its integration process on behalf of SAUR. He stepped in a more operational role, working closely with the local management team. He had the chance to lead the creation of a new strategic plan for the company with BCG as strategic advisor, including the identification and the delivery of synergies and value creation levers.

After such an enriching experience in the corporate world, Hugo realised that it would be a good time to start his own company. He then started his MBA at INSEAD, where he was elected President of the Search Fund Club.
